1. Choosing the Perfect Size
The first and certainly the most significant step when choosing pallets is the size. This aspect is crucial since choosing a larger pallet size will mean spending more than you should. Additionally, infinite stacking is impossible, and that's why you should pay extra attention to the maximum height you'll need to transport.
Typically, the recommended pallet size for distribution is 120cm long and 80cm wide. You could also consider pallets measuring 100cm by 120cm. Depending on your shipping requirements, you can adjust your pallet size to fit into your trucks.
2. Selecting the Pallet Type
There are different types of pallets, but you'll probably come across the three common ones, including mini, block, and euro pallets. All of them feature triple beams, each with a loading platform. Additionally, you can lift them using a forklift from all four corners.
